Water Music Remix Show @ Fort Adams, RI

Brian Kane, Benton Bainbridge, Steve Nalepa

I had a wonderful time at the Water Music Remix Show in Newport Rhode Island.

We had a great show, and I was fortunate to meet and work with an incredible group of musicians and vj’s. I also had the good fortune of meeting the artist and radionics researcher Duncan Laurie, who let us stay at his incredible studio in Jamestown, Rhode Island.

The Water Music Remix show was hosted by Duncan Laurie, Larry Kraman and the Museum of Yachting in Newport, RI. The audio-visual program in front of Fort Adams included the all-star line-up of Benton-C Bainbridge, David Lublin, Synesthete, David Last, Aerostatic, and Nalepa.

8 Track

8 Track was an experimental distributed music piece created for the Boston Cyber Arts Festival, 2001

“Using Wide Area Collaboration (WAC) technologies, 8Track allows multiple people to create a unique musical piece which is unpredictable and live.

Bouncing a signal around the world, 8Track uses the internet as a global digital delay, thus using the net as a musical instrument. “

Music by Joshua Kit Clayton

Created with MAX/MSP Jitter, 2002

This is a music video I made shortly after Jitter was released in 2002. I had used music which was created by Josh Clayton, so I sent him a copy, and he smiled on the piece. Thanks again, Josh.

It was shown at the Raindance Film Festival in England in 2004.
