Amorphic Robot Works is proud to announce a new performance series of The Ancestral Path Through The Amorphic Landscape at the Donau Festival in Krems, Austria.

This major work exhibits 15 years of the growth and evolution of the entire family of Amorphic sculptural machines, now operating within a massive metamorphising landscape construction. On tour for the second time in Europe until February 2003, after which it will tour the Americas.

VIDA LIFE 4.0 International Competition 2001

"LIFE 4.0 is the third edition of the international competition seeking to reward excellence in artistic creation that has embedded in it the practices of Artificial Life (A-life). We are looking for art works that are premised on the strategies of A-life research, its conceptual approaches as well as its methods of digital synthesis, art that reflects upon the panorama of potential interaction between synthetic "life" and organic life. The "Best of LIFE 4.0 Video" will be aired on specialty television programs and circulated at festivals worldwide."
